On the Road

As I comment in every update- where does the time go? Spring has sprung early in Minnesota and it is so hard to stay focused. We are taking advantage of the warm weather with a little gardening and yard clean up. We hope that we will finally be ahead of the game when we come back from our much anticipated trip to Celebration of Needlework in April. I have posted below snapshots of the new class models I will be teaching this year.

The beginning class will be so much fun. We will be learning hardanger embroidery on Charles Craft Natural Aprons - what a neat gift - they are lovely. I have created a unique Make-Do formed out of a pair of glass salt and pepper shakers that are used for the base. A Needle Fold case with scissors - So much fun to create, a wide variety of surface stitches were used to create this piece.

The Round Robin Event is always a great event to attend - I have designed a kit for that event; and don't forget about the Breast Cancer Saturday Evening Event!! Log onto www.celebrationofnw.com for further show and class information. If you have never attended this show it is WELL worth the trip!
