J. Designs originated 15 years ago. In the beginning the main focus was to share with those who had the desire to learn hardanger embroidery a comprehendible knowledge of this intricate form of needle art. For years I strived to hone my teaching techniques to simplify the basics of hardanger embroidery. |

Now, 15 years later - I have a collection of hardanger designs, a wonderful step by step technique reference book "Take the hard out of Hardanger" along with a detailed DVD of the same title. I have dabbled a bit in designing Samplers that showcase hardanger and vintage specialty stitches and have even released a few primitive type cross stitch designs; "as cross stitch was my first needle love."
Take a little bit of time to review some "oldies but goodies" designs along with a few new designs, as J. Designs continues to create for hopefully another 15 years.
