I have been trying my best to design every moment I can, but "Life can lead you don't many different paths." My health issues have shed a new light on the saying "live each day to the fullest".

All of my new hardanger creations are very special to me. Each design holds true to the tradition of hardanger embroidery. With all the beautiful fabric and fiber choices, let your creativity take them to a personal design level for you.

My sweet grand daughter Bella will come up to me with those big brown eyes and say "Grandma? I have a something?" and as it turns out, a little learning lesson of counting jelly beans is just what both of us needed. She is at an age that I would like to capture and save forever. She just turned two and she is such a joy. She is very advanced with her verbal skills - which Tom said to me "she will either talk a lot - or not be able to get a word in edgewise". I caller her Bella darlin' and one day she told me she wanted some juice, and when I handed it to her she said "tanks, gramma darlin'"

I am excited to journey to New Hampshire for the Celebration of Needlework, to teach and share with all who have such a passion for the needlework. As much as Tom and I are looking forward to the travel we can't even think of being away from Bella for that time.

Best Stitches to you……….
Julie
